FlopMetric ("FlopMetric," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the information you provide when using the FlopMetric website and related services (the "Service").
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and store it, when it may be shared, and the choices available to you.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you sign in using Google authentication, we may receive basic account information necessary to create and authenticate your FlopMetric account, including:
- Email address
- Basic Google account profile information made available through authentication
- Authentication identifiers required to maintain your account and session
FlopMetric does not receive or store your Google account password.
Poker Hand History Data
FlopMetric allows users to upload supported poker hand-history files for post-session analysis.
Uploaded hand histories may contain information including:
- Hand IDs
- Game timestamps
- Stakes and table information
- Hole cards and community cards
- Betting actions
- Pot and result information
- Player names or screen names appearing in the hand history
- Other information contained in the original hand-history file
This information is processed for the purpose of providing poker tracking, statistical analysis, review, and related features.
Users should only upload hand-history files that they are authorized to use.
Analysis and User-Generated Data
We may store information created or generated through your use of FlopMetric, including:
- Parsed hand data
- Performance statistics
- Starting-hand statistics
- Positional statistics
- All-in equity and EV calculations
- Review tags
- Player profiles created within FlopMetric
- User preferences and analysis settings
Technical Information
Our hosting, authentication, and infrastructure providers may automatically process limited technical information necessary to operate, secure, and maintain the Service, including:
- IP address
- Browser and device information
- Request timestamps
- Server logs
- Security logs
- Error and diagnostic information
We do not currently use this information for behavioral advertising.
2. How We Use Information
We use information collected through FlopMetric to:
- Authenticate users and maintain accounts
- Process uploaded poker hand histories
- Generate statistics, analytics, and visualizations
- Provide dashboards, hand-history review, starting-hand analysis, and review tools
- Maintain user profiles, settings, and preferences
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Protect the Service against abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access
- Improve the reliability and functionality of FlopMetric
- Respond to support and privacy requests
- Comply with applicable legal obligations
FlopMetric is intended solely for post-session poker analysis.
It is not designed to provide real-time assistance, decision support, or gameplay automation during active poker play.
3. Poker Player Information
Poker hand-history files may contain usernames or screen names belonging to other players.
FlopMetric processes such information only as part of hand histories uploaded by a user for that user's personal post-session analysis.
FlopMetric does not intentionally:
- Create shared opponent databases
- Sell opponent information
- Aggregate or share player-pool profiles between users
- Provide real-time opponent information
- Provide HUD functionality
- Make one user's uploaded hand-history database available to another user
4. Third-Party Service Providers
FlopMetric uses third-party service providers to operate the Service.
Supabase
Supabase is used for functionality including:
- User authentication
- Database services
- Backend infrastructure
- Storage of account and poker-analysis data
Our primary Supabase project is configured in the Seoul, South Korea region.
Vercel
Vercel provides hosting, deployment, content delivery, and related web infrastructure for FlopMetric. Vercel may process technical information necessary to deliver, operate, monitor, and secure the Service.
Google authentication is used to allow users to sign in to FlopMetric.
Google may process information in accordance with its own privacy policies and terms.
FlopMetric does not sell personal information to these service providers.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain account information, uploaded hand-history data, parsed poker data, and associated analysis information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service.
Users may request deletion of their account and associated data by contacting:
Following a verified deletion request, FlopMetric will delete or anonymize associated user data within 30 days, unless retention is required for:
- Legal or regulatory obligations
- Security or fraud prevention
- Dispute resolution
- Technical backup or recovery purposes
Residual copies may remain temporarily in backups or system logs before being automatically removed through normal retention cycles.
6. Data Security
FlopMetric uses reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect user information, including:
- HTTPS-encrypted connections
- Authentication controls
- Access controls
- Database security policies
- Restricted access to backend credentials and infrastructure
However, no internet-based service or electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security.
Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their Google accounts, devices, and login sessions.
7. Data Sharing and Disclosure
FlopMetric does not sell or rent personal information.
We may share or disclose information only when reasonably necessary:
- With service providers that operate infrastructure on our behalf
- To comply with applicable laws, court orders, or lawful governmental requests
- To investigate fraud, misuse, security incidents, or violations of our Terms of Service
- To protect the rights, property, safety, or security of FlopMetric, its users, or others

9. International Data Processing
Although FlopMetric's primary database infrastructure is configured in South Korea, some service providers or subprocessors may process technical or service-related information in other countries. By using the Service, you acknowledge that information may be processed in jurisdictions outside your country of residence where necessary to provide, secure, and maintain the Service.
10. Cookies and Authentication Technologies
FlopMetric uses cookies or similar browser technologies where necessary for:
- Authentication
- Session management
- Security
- Core application functionality
FlopMetric does not currently use third-party behavioral advertising cookies.
If analytics, advertising, or other tracking technologies are introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy and any required consent mechanisms will be updated accordingly.
11. Children's Privacy
FlopMetric is not intended for children.
Users must meet the minimum legal age applicable to the Service and to poker-related activities in their jurisdiction.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
